Kingsley Club

Kingsley Club

Kingsley, Michigan, USA

Project completed in 2001

GOLF Magazine US ranking 90

Architects: Mike DeVries

The Kingsley Club was developed by two avid golfers who wanted to create a world-class club. Mike spent two seasons building the course, which opened in 2001.

The site occupies 400 acres with the course occupying over half of that space. The soils are glacial deposits which drain freely and support firm and fast fescue turf.

The course has dramatic elevation changes and contours vary throughout the site from smooth flowing to erratic ridges and receptive bowls. Elaborate bunkers highlight the rugged landscape. The colours of the flora change throughout the seasons, making each day unique.

Kingsley is regularly ranked in the country’s top 25 modern courses by Golfweek and is now rated #90 in the United States by GOLF Magazine.
